About Time — For Ages 7 and Up
Everybody needs to be able to read and understand analogue and digital time as there is often only one clock/watch visible.
Pupils develop a concept of time. They soon understand that 12 noon is nearly lunch-time, but at 12 midnight it will be dark, and they should be asleep! They understand that at 7a.m. they may be getting out of bed ready to face the day, but at 7p.m. they may be relaxing, and thinking about getting ready for bed.
The understanding of 24-hour time is an essential life skill as most travel timetables use 24-hour time to avoid confusion: you wouldn’t want to arrive at the airport 12 hours early, or even worse, 12 hours late for your holiday flight!
There is reinforcement and revision throughout the workbook.
All worksheets are clearly set out.
No more excuses for being late!

Amaze your teachers!
Full instructions for the coach are given throughout: there is no need for lesson planning.
Hands Free Number Bonds starts by introducing the pupil to number bonds to make 10. As pupils work through the programme confidence is gained together with a tremendous sense of achievement.
There is plenty of revision to recap on the many strategies introduced throughout the programme.
Golden Rules to Hands Free Number Bonds Triumph
- Do start at the beginning of the programme.
- Do work through every page.
- Do practise regularly: it’s the key to success.
Step By Step Times Tables — For All Ages
Before embarking on the programme pupils only need to be able to count up to 120 (12 X 10 = 120 is introduced early on in the programme).
Pupils need to work with a coach for between 15 and 20 minutes a minimum of three times a week for success based upon regular, repetitive practice. It is proven that by following the Step by Step programme pupils learn the tables because both coach and pupil can easily check how many sessions have been completed in a given time – and remedy the situation if necessary. If pupils are given times tables on sheets of paper to learn, in many cases it doesn’t happen. Step by Step Times Tables ensures all the tables facts up to 12 X 12 are learned.
Pupils and coaches can see progress being made and maths confidence developing.
Full instructions for the coach are included: no lesson planning is required.
